: finally rained today!

These few days (or even weeks) have been really warm and humid, so I was surprised to see it rain today! Finally a cold day, I'm sure many people have been waiting for rain for ages.

Went to Republic Polytechnic today... had to use the maps at the MRT station to find my way there. After a while I followed students walking out from Republic Polytechnic , which was easier. My friend was kind enough to show me around, and introduced me to some of her other friends. They're a rowdy bunch and look like they are having fun studying in poly. (in sharp contrast to most struggling A level students, a group which I used to be in) RP's campus looks small but its quite nice, the buildings look newer than NUS! I wouldn't mind a campus like that =P Their library is nice as well, but in my opinion NUS's central library is nicer. Chatted and walked around there for a while, then their friends wanted to go play basketball. It was raining so me and her didn't go, walked around Causeway Point for a while before going home. It was my second time there, my first time there was with cass to buy a jigsaw puzzle that we couldn't find elsewhere.

Went home and chatted with dear dear for a while before she went to sleep. Today marks our 4th month together! Long distance relationships are hard, as they say, hopefully we can make it work. She was chatting with lq as well and then mentioned cass also. Its been a long while since I last talked to cass, hope she is doing okay and her final year project is going well.

Guess I'm going to sleep too, feeling tired as well. Goodnite!
